Our Adventure Trips in Patagonia are for travelers that
enjoy trekking and the outdoors, in a non conventional Tour, without sacrificing
comfort while not paying the extra $ of luxury travel. You will be trekking
Patagonia in a group with a dedicated Tour Leader and a Mountain Guide
leading the trekking activities. Your lodging will be some nights at Hostels
or Inns, some at Full Camp in double or single tents and others at a Mountain
Refuge.
You can come to trek alone, with your couple or with friends. You just
have to be able to walk 4 to 6 hours a day on hiking days, at gentle pace,
and to enjoy staying in natural environments and camping on some nights.
The group will walk along unique landscapes, lakes, mountains and glaciers,
and the idea is to enjoy the journey, so there are no rush or hurries,
no difficulties neither risky steps. Some specific groups could be able
to hike more intensively on these tours, if they require to do it. The
only restriction where we suggest not to come trekking is for those kids
younger than 9 years and for the adults with some problem of health that
prevents them to do the outlined activities pleasantly.
How to select your Adventure Trip in
Patagonia
The trips offered here are moderate treks. Our most popular program
is the 15 days long Patagonia
Adventure Trekking (PAT) visiting El Chalten, El Calafate, Torres del Paine
and Ushuaia. It is composed of 3 modules that can be taken as specific
trips themselves if you plan to stay less than 2 weeks trekking in Patagonia.
The other main program offered is the Patagonia
Crossing Adventure (PAC). It’s the result of adding the Route
40 (MRC) trip before the Patagonia Adventure Trekking and it's the best option
for travel and trekking all over Patagonia.

Additionally, if you are taking one of the trips going to Torres
del Paine (PWT or PWU) and want to visit the spectacular Perito Moreno
Glacier in Calafate, the
XPM Extension Trip is available to do before those 2 trekking
trips, and also after your trip if you are taking the PWT.Now if you want a great experience in Patagonia, we suggest to take the PAC and you can make it complete if you add first the 3 days XPV Peninsula de Valdes Extension trip, available to visit the Peninsula Valdes wildlife sanctuary. After it you will transfer by bus to Comodoro Rivadavia to continue your overland adventure (for the PAC, FMC or MRC trips) or take a flight to El Calafate (for the PAT, FGP, PWU, TFG or PWT trips). You can also take the XPV after the PAT trip
The trips are offered with different lodging alternatives to adapt to your preferences and budget. You can share the room and the bathroom with others at towns (Hostel type, usually 4 persons in a room) and share the tent at campsites (2 persons per tent) for example if you come alone, or arrange a private room at a Hotel or Inn and a private tent at campsites if you prefer. In this case you will have a price on Double base and another price on Single base for the solo traveler.
For those who can spend more days in Argentina, we recommend our XIF Extension Tour to visit the impressive Iguazu Falls, with lots of water & rainforest jungle. Located in the North-East province of Misiones on the border with Brazil, it's a beatiful and unforgettable way to enjoy Argentina natural wonders.
Description: The Patagonia Crossing Adventure Trip allows you to travel Patagonia and
trek
in each of its magnificent landscapes. Starting on the legendary Route 40,
with its long gravel roads crossing the Patagonia steppe,
visiting the 10,000 years old Hand-painted Cave on Rio Pinturas canyon (Cueva
de las Manos), trekking at Rio Oro
canyon close to Cerro San Lorenzo, to continue visiting the most
beautiful National Parks in Argentina and Chile. We trek Los Glaciares National
Park at Chalten and walk in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We continue
hiking in Torres del Paine National Park and then, crossing the Magellan
Strait, overland travel to Tierra del Fuego, stopping at an Estancia (lamb's
