The Ushuaia Discovery Trip lead us to the south end of South America continent. The picturesque Ushuaia names itself the world’s southernmost city, the End of the World. We spend nights in the Ushuaia City to discover her secrets and beauties. We walk the Tierra del Fuego National Park and navigate the Beagle Channel where the waters from Atlantic and Pacific Ocean melt together. Breathtaking views in this outdoor travel at the End of the World. This tour is designed or those people seeking to know Tierra del Fuego in an active, deeper and closer way. Has no difficulty, it is suitable for everybody. Departures 2016/2017: All days 3 days - 2 nights Season: All year Starts at: Ushuaia Airport (USH). Ends at: Ushuaia Airport (USH). Itinerary Day 1: Ushuaia airport – Ushuaia Welcome at the local airport and transfer to Ushuaia, the southernmost city of the world. On route we show you the most interesting locations in town. As an optional for today, you can visit the Navy Museum and the former Presidium of town. Lodging in Hosteria Double or Single room with private bathroom Included meals: none. Day 2: Beagle Channel boat trip - Tierra Mayor Valley After breakfast we transfer to the Port of Ushuaia where we get on board to go sailing the legendary Beagle Channel. We will visit in this boat trip the Island Alicia where we will watch a colony of Sea Lions, the Island of Birds where we can see Cormorants and the Light House Les Eclaireurs built in 1919. We get back to the port in the afternoon. Lodging in Hosteria Double or Single room with private bathroom Included meals: breakfast (B) Day 3: Tierra del Fuego National Park - Ushuaia airport After breakfast we drive to Bahia Saratiegui, in Tierra del Fuego National Park. From here we get beautiful views of the Beagle Channel. A 7 km, 3 and a half hours trail leads us to Lake Roca, showings as a rich flora and fauna, including many birds. We will also have the chance to see relicts of the ancient Yamana culture, which inhabited the Island before the arrival of white men. Lunch at Lake Roca, and then we get in our canoes along River Lapataia, to reach bay Lapataia, the end of the Panamerican Road and the national Route # 3. From here we are 3.063 km from Buenos Aires and –in the other side of America- 17.848 km away from Alaska. At noon we go back to our hosteria; later we are transferred to the airport where our services end. Included meals: breakfast (B) Price (u$d):
