In the Northeast of Argentina, at Misiones province in the limit with
Brazil, the Iguazú Falls generate unique water jumps like the devil’s
Throat that have positioned the Iguazu National Park as the most visited
in Argentina. Lined with dense forests, the Iguazu river flows into 275
waterfalls, plunging more than 70 meters with a deafening noise. As this
huge volume of
water reaches the bottom, spray rises, and lots of rainbows are formed
in the sky. An incredible variety of fauna and flora completes the perfect
setting for the waterfalls within the protection of the Iguazu National
Park.To this amazing experience we can add a visit to Swamplands of Ibera,
the second greatest wetland of South America, a site privileged for watching
birds with over 350 different species. Once in the boat to cross its streams
we will appreciate the local animals like the Yacare, the Red deer of
Marshlands and the Lobito of the river. Also within the Mesopotamian region
we will be able to complete the visit to the water jumps of the Moconá
river. |
